November 10, 2022
Welcome to the third monthly newsletter regarding music activities. This month's newsletter is short and sweet—I'll be on the road for much of the rest of the year.
Today, we have information on the usual projects: Mala Nota, Red and The Rebels, Channels, and the Josh Peters Sextet (until it is otherwise renamed).
The Mala Nota <https://malanotamusic.com/> album is currently being mixed, I believe in Mexico City, and early results are sounding very good.
The next show is December 9 with Onda Stereo <https://www.instagram.com/onda.stereo/> and Atash <http://atash.com/> at Sahara Lounge <https://www.saharalounge.com/>.
December 9
Sahara Lounge 1413 Webberville Road Austin, TX 78721 (512) 927-0700 8:30 - Onda Stereo 10:00 - Atash Midnight - Mala Nota

Red and The Rebels <https://redandtherebels.com/> is currently developing songs for the second album, and also working on plans for 2023. It turns out the band has a bit of a national following (the machinations of social media), and in response to requests like, "Come to Michigan" a series of streaming shows is in the works.
Video from the October 1 Channels <https://wearechannels.com/> Better Together show was has been edited and is ready to share. We're looking forward to presenting more in 2023. Meanwhile, enjoy—and share— videos:
First, check out this recap.
Then, give a deep listen to "From So Far Away."
The Josh Peters Sextet will be back after a holiday hiatus. Meanwhile, here's a little gift from Tarek Yamani. I suggest three listens, not necessarily consecutive. Request: please report back what this does for you.
Thanks again for reading. I hope to see you at a show, and look forward to whatever news I’ll have to share next month. Maybe a road story. Feel free to send questions or topics you might like to hear about from me.
Peace, Love, and Art,
Ralph
